In your early 20s
At this age, do not be afraid to experiment with make-up! Says make-up expert Clint Fernandes, “The younger you are, the more you should experiment with make-up. Your choice of colours should be bold and peppy.”
To get the look:
- Start with cleansing, toning and moisturising your face.
- Says Aakriti Kochar, make-up expert, Oriflame India, “Use a little bit of foundation all over your face. In case you have scars or pimples, use a concealer to hide them.”
- Add some loose powder on your face to settle the foundation.
- Start with a bright pink eye shadow. Pat it on the centre of your eyelid, blending it on the entire area all the way up to your eye socket.
- To give dimension to your eyes, choose a darker shade of eye shadow in pink and draw a semi-circle on the outer corner of your eye lid. Make sure you blend both your eye shadows well.
- Draw a thin line with a black liquid eye liner — very close to your lash line.
- Fill the water line of your eyes with a white coloured eye pencil to make your eyes look brighter and bigger.
- Using a pencil brush under your waterline, run a thin line of shimmery navy blue eye shadow to give a pop of colour.
- Curl your lashes. Apply a top coat of mascara, followed by several bottom coats to your lashes.
- Apply soft pink blush on the apple of your cheeks, extending it upwards to your cheekbone. Make sure to blend it well.
- Opt for a fuschia lipstick and finish it with some gloss. If you want to make the look soft, dab some translucent powder on top of your lipstick.
