After the death of her father’s first wife, her mom got married to him following her parents' desire. There was a huge age difference between her mom (18) and father (in 50’s). The age of her father and her maternal grandfather was almost same. She had 5 stepbrothers and sisters and many were older than her mom. While her mom got pregnant, her dad told her she bring the baby into the world but he isn't interested in the unborn child. He already had 5 kids from his first marriage. From the days of being in her mom’s womb, she was treated like an unwanted child. " To my dad, I was an unwanted child," Suruthi said with a heavy voice. She eventually broke down how her dad never touched her or showed love. Her father used to lock her mom and her while going on a trip. She explained how her dad was insecure about his young wife. They were not given proper food at times. Suruthi shared that how she was relieved after the demise of her dad. Later, she also explained how one of her stepbrothers used to help Suruthi and mom for their livelihood.
