TOP Rivalries of the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Reality TV series Bigg Boss Telugu has entertained its fans with some major rivalries between the contestants in all four seasons so far. The fifth edition of the reality TV series in Telugu is set to premiere on September 5 promising to chase boredom away and the upcoming season will surely witness more fights and much more drama. Ahead of the show’s launch, here's a quick look at the top rivalries of the series.
Mumaith Khan vs co-contestants
Mumaith Khan is easily the most controversial contestant of the debut season hosted by Jr NTR in 2017. The first season has given a glimpse of what can be expected in the seasons to come through Mumait. The actress often picked up fights with co-inmates. The one with Prince and Siva Balaji in the role-play task drew all the attention for the show.
Kaushal Manda vs Tanish Alladi
Kaushal and Tanish were some of the strongest contenders in season 2 and they often viewed each other as competitors, too. As they formed their own groups in the BB house, they did not hesitate to even get physical during the tasks and threaten each other of dire consequences after stepping out of the house as the show inched towards the finale. The rivalry continued even after the conclusion of the show. While Kaushal accused Tanish of plotting against him with the Kaushal Army controversy, the latter even contemplated a defamation case against Kaushal. Tanish and a few other contestants even kept Kaushal out of their special song on COVID-19 awareness during the lockdown. And Kaushal continued to be on his own even after the conclusion of the show.
Sreemukhi and Rahul Sipligunj
Rahul Sipligunj and Sreemukhi are classic examples of friends-turned-foes in the Bigg Boss house. They were at loggerheads right from day one. However, the differences escalated after Rahul called her ‘faltu’ and allegedly made offensive comments on her profession as well. Rahul and Sreemukhi tried to clear their differences many a time but ended up with a new reason to hate each other. Sreemukhi declared that she would nominate him every week. They have shared a picture together after stepping out of the house indicating a patch up, but they were seldom seen or working together after the conclusion of the show.
Tamanna Simhadri and Ravi Krishna
The rivalry between transgender contestant Tamanna Simhadri and TV actor Ravikrishna is perhaps the only one that faded away towards the end of the season. Tamanna’s provocative game crossed the line when she resorted to taking revenge on Ravikrishna for allegedly nominating her for elimination. Tamanna, who considered it as a breach of trust, openly declared to avenge the humiliation. She continued to make offensive comments on Ravi and the latter had no choice but to silently endure it. Tamanna and Ravikrishna later apologised to each other towards the end of the show. However, they were never spotted together after the season nor did they collaborate professionally.
Abhijeet Duddala and Akhil Sarthak
The rivalry between Abhijeet and Akhil is one of the most talked-about topics of season 4. The two who started off as friends parted ways over their personal differences which also includes their respective equations with Monal Gajjar in the house. One of their major fights during the nomination task has created quite a stir and host Nagarjuna had to address it. They decided to bury the hatchet and patched up later. But a major fight erupted between the two especially after Akhil returned to the BB house after his secret room stint. Their equation with each other and Monal besides their fights during the nomination task was fodder for memes throughout the season.
Sohel and Ariyana
Sohel and Ariyana, who were good friends off-screen, entered the BB house together from the secret room. However, they were at loggerheads since day one in the house. While Ariyana claimed Sohel was always rude to her, the latter denied the same and complained about her behaviour. They have fought in the presence of host Nagarjuna on a couple of occasions. Their clashes are often trolled on social media. But the animosity of this ‘Tom and Jerry’ of the BB house did not last long. They have patched up in the show and continued to make TV appearances together and create content online for their respective channels.
