The much-awaited Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 'Second Innings' has started on a high note. Host Kiccha Sudeep is excited about the second innings. 12 contestants will continue their game inside BB Kannada house once again. Gear up for some high-voltage action!





With Kannada reality shows resuming shoots, the eighth edition of Bigg Boss Kannada, which was suspended following lockdown restrictions across the state is all set to be back on Kannada television. The makers have decided to resume the reality show by the end of June. According to a source, the makers are likely to resume the reality show from June 28. However, a confirmation of the exact date is awaited from the channel airing the show.

Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 will resume from where it was stalled and will have the same contestants who were inside the house when the show was suspended.

TOP Active Contestants:
Vaishnavi Gowda, Nidhi Subbaiah, Shubha Poonja, Divya Suresh, Manju Pavagad, Prashanth Sambargi, Priyanka Thimmesh, Chakravarthy Chandrachud, Aravind KP, Raghu Gowda, Shamanth Gowda, and Divya Uruduga will be entering the glasshouse as contestants.


These contestants will soon be getting quarantined before entering the Bigg Boss house. Rumors are rife that the contestants are likely to get quarantined from this week and will also undergo an RT-PCR test multiple times before they enter the glasshouse.

On the other hand, the Abhinaya Chakravarthy of the Kannada film industry, Kiccha Sudeep will also return as the host for the eighth season. Earlier, when the reality show was on the run, Sudeep had stayed away from hosting weekend episodes citing concerns about his health and safety. However, with the season resuming back, the host is also set to return to the reality show on weekends.

Bigg Boss Kannada 8 to resume with 12 contestants in the house



We had earlier reported that Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 will resume shortly. The channel has now confirmed that BIgg Boss Kannada 8 will go on air, but they are yet to confirm the date. Kichcha Sudeep, who did not host the weekend show for three consecutive weeks, will be back as the host.

In a lengthy post on Facebook, business head of the channel, Parameshwar Gundkal, comparing the Bigg Boss show to the test cricket match, has posted that in the first innings everyone knows the game plan of each player, they know how co-contestants will react to the different circumstances and situations. Though inmates know everyone's strategies, the second innings will decide the winner. Twelve contestants will get the opportunity to win the coveted Bigg Boss title.

The names of the contestants are yet to be revealed by the channel. According to sources, contestants have already been quarantined in hotels. Once RT-PCR tests are done, they will enter the house. All safety precautionary measures including sanitizing the Bigg Boss house are in process. The show ended after the completion of 70 days in May, due to the lockdown.
