X Factor: Katie Waissel and Matt Cardle 'found in bed together'

Katie Waissel and Matt Cardle have apparently shocked X Factor staff by being caught in bed together.


The X Factor romance rumours had focused on Mary Byrne and Wagner, but it now appears Louis Walsh's acts are not the only ones to have discovered a mutual attraction.

According to the News of the World, members of the security team discovered Katie and Matt in bed together after a game involving a number of contestants got the pair in the mood.
'They'd been mucking around and ended up kissing d
uring a silly game a few of them were playing. But there was an obvious attraction and they ended up in the same bed,' an insider claimed.

Simon Cowell has told the acts they should not date each other during the finals of The X Factor, but it seems Matt could not help himself.

The source added: 'Matt is known as the ladies man in the house and he's been getting closer to Katie over the last few days. He loves her confidence and thinks she's gorgeous. Katie is the sort of girl who needs the attention of a bloke to feel contented.'

Matt, the favourite to win the ITV1 talent show, may not be too pleased about the timing of the revelation, as the Sunday Mirror reports he is hoping to get back together with Lauren Cutmore - the long-term girlfriend he split from after his X Factor audition.

He is said to still have strong feelings for Lauren and apparently sneaked out of the house to meet her for dinner earlier this week.
