Fans of Dr. Armaan from Dil Mil Gaye will now get to see the actor on the silver screen. The buzz is that Karan Singh Grover will debut in Vikram Bhatt’s Bhaag Johny.
A source says, “Karan Singh Grover will be seen in a Bollywood movie called
Bhaag Johny, produced by Vikram Bhatt and directed by Deepak Tijori. The story revolves around Karan who will be seen romancing three girls.”
Director Deepak Tijori recently spoke to a daily about the film. “We had been looking for a lead actor for some time. We wanted an actor who could carry the film and do romantic, comedy and action sequences. Karan Singh Grover’s agency heard about the role and got in touch with us. When we met him, we knew he was the right choice, and signed him on for
Bhaag Johny.”
Deepak’s daughter played a key role in Karan making the cut. “My daughter and her friends are hooked to Karan Grover’s show (
Dill Mill Gaye), and I had also seen him on the reality dance show,
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”
The movie will also star three women. “We will be introducing three girls in the movie –Shruti Agrawal, Natasha Suri and a foreigner, Vaughn. The cast is full of newcomers and I am very excited about this project, as the movie Fox has also been wrapped up now. It’s a thriller and we are going to have a lot of fun.”
Indya wishes Karan luck for his Bollywood debut.
