From a promising fashion designer and model to an actress. If this start isn't enough, then a fortunate debut opposite Salman Khan would certainly be sufficient for the new comer Sonakshi Sinha.
Daughter of 'Shotgun' Shatrugan Sinha - indeed we talk of the same Sonakshi - who is all set to make her debut appearance in Bolly-cinema opposite Salman in his next film Debangg.

Debangg is a seeming debut venture, for it is also claimed that actor Arbaaz Khan will become first time director with the same flick. Additionally, music men Sajid - Wajid also confirmed that Arbaaz will be singing for the movie. All in the family, almost!

Salman met Sonakshi at the Lakme Fashion Week last year and assured her a leading role if she worked on acquiring a rightful physique; for the girl in mention at that time had some extra pounds she could do well to lose.
Diligently she put herself to task and lost 30 kilos by controlled diet and scheduled work outs. Salman as we know him, knows not how to go back on his word, and so here she is - rolling her debut carpets with macho Khan!

As for the proceedings, Sonakshi has been busy with scripts post signing up for Debangg. As a bonus, Boney Kapoor has already signed her for his next, yet to be named, project.

However, the young daughter has rejected Vashu Bhagwani's upcoming ventue Faltu, in which her male co-star would have been Jackky Bhagwani. Faltu was previously turned down by the 'desi girl' Priyanka Chopra.
With all the luck, and plenty of chance abiding by her, we expect to see this new face make a mark soon!
