Default Pick of the Week: Dusehra Special Week

Miley Jab Hum Tum:

Scene of the Week: Last week was the time for Samrat and Gunjan fans to celebrate as their favorite jodi finally confessed their love for each other. After such a long wait, we got to see Sajan confess in Morena on such an auspicious day, Dussera. With the festival celebrations in full swing down in Morena, it was a joy to witness the confesssion under a canopy of fireworks.

Dialogue of the Week: "Agar kisine mujhe mujhse bhi zada jana hai to wo tum ho, agar kisi ne meri help ki hai, mere liye pray ki hai, meri chinta ki hai.... to wo tum ho chashmish"

Style Icon of the Week: Last week's Style Icon has to be Nupur hands down. In her empire-waisted purple and maroon silk lenhga with transparent long sleeves and hair pulled back to reveal crescent-shaped earrings that dangled at the ends, she looked regal and elegant. What can we say, Dussehra would not have been the same without Nupur and her amazing sense of fashion.

Blooper of the Week: In one scene Samrat and Gunjan were in a barn, suddenly Gunjan runs out and next thing you know is that they are on the terrace. As soon as the confession takes place, they are back in the barn again.

Dill Mill Gayye:

Scene of the Week: Scene of the week was when Niki is by herself away from the party room, crying because Jiah has just humiliated her in front of everyone. Abhi finds her, and keeps telling her to listen to him and when she asks why, he emotionally tells her that he loves her. Then Niki reciprocates the love, but says that since he lives with Jiah, things have gotten bad. And of course Abhi says he can't ask Jiah for a divorce because she is sick. Then Niki cries again, until she ends up leaning against Abhi. Unseen by them, Jiah watches the couple and vows that if she can't have Abhi, then no one can. This is a moving scene because we have witnessed Abhi and Niki slowly fall for each other, only to have their love quashed by the appearance of Jiah, who is much more clever than she looks.

Dialogue of the Week: Last week's best dialogue was when Yuvi has stopped on the road at night, because he sees Naina standing there alone. He tells her, "Tum sab ko aise darathi ho?"Chalo beth jao chod detha hoon. Then Naina replies, "Mein sirf gaadi mein beth thi hoon."Yuvi then says, "Jaisi tumhari marzi. tum soch lo."
This is a funny exchange because we know Naina is secretly relieved to see Yuvi as opposed to some stranger offering her a ride. And because Yuvi also wants her to ride with him, she pretends just as indifferently. They are both so sarcastic with one another, and yet we can read the sparks of attraction between the lines.

Style Icon of the Week: This week's SIOTW goes to Dr. Abhimanyu Modi hands down. He rocked the entire week with UB shirts in striped blue, deep red, and light pink paired with his trademark rimless glasses. It doesn't get any better than this young doctor and his effortless style. Honorable mention goes to Nikita Malhotra who appeared in the anniversary party wearing a white sari with sequined border, white choli, silver bangles and strappy sandals. She looked simply angelic and took the viewers' breath away.

Blooper of the Week: When all the interns spend at least an hour trying to get a response from Moushi aunty, does it not occur to them or anyone in Sanjeevani that she is missing from her bed? Especially because she is not conscious at this point to go walking around by herself. Sounds funny to us.

Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil:

Scene of the Week: Prem and Heer finally get married with all the rituals and traditions though late. Prem and Heer finally free themselves from their disturbing family and move into their bedroom on the wedding night. Prem takes Heer to the window, opens it and hugs her, both looking at the The Moon. The Moon have been their symbol of love ever since they met for the first time and so on this very special day before starting their new life, they approach it to seek all its blessings for a happy and content life with no more problems coming across their life. The scene was shown very beautifully and both Prem and Heer totally living the moment happily after these many years was such a treat to watch to.

Style Icon of the Week: Heer looked resplendent in her gold and red ghagra and bridal ornaments. It was paired with matching red and gold churis which pulled the entire look together. Prem as the groom looked no less in his cream and red sherwani. Getting married never looked more glam!

Dialogue of the week: "Abh humaare beech mein koi teesra nahi aayega Heer, and thanks..mujpar vishwaas karne ke liye....shhh (silenced by heer)..kuch mat kaho...thaam lo iss pal ko..." Prem wanting to thank his Heer for trusting him and Heer reminding him that its over and she knows and trusts him. She reminds him about their present moment where they are seeking their blessings from their symbol of love, The Moon before they start afresh of their new life. The dialogue was short and sweet but with a lot of love, trust, new expectations and promises filled message.

Blooper of the Week: The House where the whole family is staying was once upon a time their Hotel at Ludhiana, which later became Hotel at Delhi and now their house. Pretty long how much more they used it. Also the bedroom for Prem & Heer keeps changing every single episode.

Please note: There are plenty of shows and to give a fair chance to all, we try to cover all the shows alternatively! The views expressed in this article are solely by the author.
