Default Time management-Public holiday calendar

Questions:

For example, in a retail store selling cosmetics all the staffs are supposed to work on PH unless it is their new year.
In country like singapore, we have 3 main ethic, namely, Chinese, Malay, Indians.

In Deepavali(public holiday), all indians working in the retail store are entitled to off day except for those Chinese and Malay as they are supposed to work on this day even though it is a public holiday.

How do I specified like this public holiday is only applicable to Indians instead of others? (first question)

Due to the indians being on holiday, they might be a shortage of manpower for this particular day. Hence is it that we can use substitution to replace them temporary for one day? (second question)

Answers:

Try this

First create Three different Holiday calender for Tamil, malay and chinese

then create the WSR rules in the table V_T508A using SM30

Create three WSR rules using three different calender and save.specify wsr for Tamil.malay and chineese

and generate WSR in batch

Give the WSR in infotype 0007(Planned working time) according to the employee orgin

and save
