Mishal Raheja on cloud nine

Mishal Raheja who gained a lot of recognition as the gutsy Dutta Bhau in COLORS' Laagi Tujhse Lagan has won the Most Prominent Actor Award at the Lions Gold Awards for this character role. The actor is overjoyed about his win.

Harpreet becomes the victim of a prank
Harpreet Singh was the latest victim of the pranks on the sets of Rang Badalti Odhani. Harpreet recently rejoined the cast and director Swapna Waghmare Joshi was the brains behind the prank that caught the actor on a wrong foot. When Harpreet came back on the sets he went up to Swapna and asked her if the team was the same to which she scared him by saying that the producer, Yash Patnaik, brings his terrible sister on the sets who throws her attitude around.

Swapna then informed the crew about the prank and assigned the role of Patnaik’s sister to one of the girls from the creative team. As a part of the prank the girl showed her attitude on the sets and got into a fight with the leading lady of the show, Yashashree Masurkar. Harpreet was terrified with this behaviour, when he saw Patnaik intervening and trying to calm down the two ladies.

Sooraj Thapar bags a new role
Sagar Arts and Nilanjana Purkayasstha's newly formed production house, '72 Degrees Northe' coming up with a historical show on Imagine. The show which was earlier titled 'Maurya' has been rechristened to be 'Chandragupta Maurya'. It is slated to launch on Imagine sometime in March. The shoot for the show has commenced at the extensive Sagar Film City in Baroda. Tej Sapru who is presently seen in Sahara One's Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des will play an important role. So will Sooraj Thapar of Sasural Genda Phool fame.
