Pallavi Rao, who has made appearances in several shows like Kitni
Mohabbat Hai, Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna and
Koi Aane Ko Hai, is now seen in Sahara One’s
Bitto in the role of Sugandha, Rudrapratap Singh’s (Vijay Mishra) wife on the show and
Bade Thakur’s daughter-in-law.
Apparently, the actress is having a tough time on the sets of
Bitto. Recently, Pallavi was in news for her alleged affair with co-star Mishra.
However it looks like, the gossip has rubbed the actress the wrong way. According to our source, “Pallavi is very annoyed and irritated with the constant questioning. In fact, she has threatened to quit the show.” Our source adds, “She feels someone from the sets is spreading these rumours.”
Pallavi presents her side of the story. “Yes, I have told the production house I will quit the show if I don’t get a proper explanation. I was shocked to come across such a rumour and when I questioned the channel, they were extremely rude to me saying that they didn’t know anything about it.
And, when I approached the production house, they washed their hands off too. Now, all I’ve asked from the production house is to arrange an interview where I can clear my image. If that isn’t done, I will quit the show. As of now, they haven’t reverted to me.”
The actress adds, “I am extremely lucky to have a husband like Suraj Rao. He is extremely supportive and suggested I ignore the rumour. However, it is about my self-respect so I am going to fight for my right.”
Mishra on his part said, “She is a wonderful actress and co-star. I respect her a lot and she is a good friend too. But I felt bad when my name was linked with her. She is a dignified married lady with children.
We do joke around on the sets and also, might have travelled by the same car as our set is really far off. But, that certainly doesn’t mean we are going around.”
For the uninitiated, Pallavi is married to the ex-director of the show, Suraj Rao, who is now replaced by Rahib Siddique for unknown reasons.
