The Art of Winning heart in Lux Perfect Bride!!!!! Grooms and thier Moms

Every one of us likes to be a favorite of those around us and are very happy when we know that we have won other people’s hearts. Here are a few ways (or rather ideas) which the contestants of Perfect Bride have taught us to win people’s heart!!!!

Rajbeer Singh: The heartthrob of all and his Mom the docile lady

He is one the favorites of the audience, if love at first sight is to be believed then all we need to do is listen to the way he talks to Priyanka. He seems to be totally into her from the moment he met her. Some of their first meets were so romantic that the audience fell in love with the couple. He knows the right things to say to the girl when he meets her and flatters the girl so beautifully that she feels totally the same way about him.

But love and romance aren’t the only things, he seems totally serious about his relationship and the same time respects his family and respects their feelings. He seems to have the right balance of love for a girl and respect for elders. He doesn’t want them to agree half-heartedly but wants them to give a whole hearted Yes!!!! which makes him endearing to the parents (watching the show) as well. Many times on the show we have seen him being very sensitive and above all he seems to be the peacemaker between the fight between the guys (read Hitesh and other guys). But the hitch seems to remain that he has not yet said “I love you” to Priyanka and his critics feel that his waiting for “whole hearted acceptance” by coming back to the show seems to have no meaning.

Many also feel that his claim of not marrying till his parents agree and the claims that they will even marry later if not on the show are just excuses to win the show but to put off the marriage. Marrying in the show or not he seems to have made an impact in the show. Rajbeer’s mom is one the sweet old mom who was most of the girl’s favorite. She was liked by all and is also the large hearted lady who has taken a liking to Priyanka, mostly because her son likes Priyanka and seems to be bonding beautifully with her giving her the mother Priyanka desperately wants.

However the fact remains that after her return she seems to have mellowed down, probably as she is a docile wife of the dominating father who doesn’t want marriage immediately or at least not with Priyanka. Raj and his mom make a great pair of a thoughtful and romantic husband and sweet and agreeable mother in law.

Hitesh Chauhan: The spoilt brat and the ever dominating mother Sudesh ji.



Hitesh (and his mom of course) are the only ones who have a very strong screen presence in the show….he is a totally spoilt brat, mercilessly teases everybody and makes fun of people without thinking. Picks fight with almost every body and threatens one and all in the show, he gossips like an old lady commenting on all girls. The organizers seem to have taken a liking to him and his mom and thus he has taken the liberty of wagging a finger at everybody including Romit (the host). He also has an air of over confidence which we find totally unbearable.

For his fans he seems to be the only cool contestant. He was totally into Pooja when in relationship with her but was fed up with the fact that she was not able to give commitment and at last went to extent of pressurizing her so much so that she couldn’t carry on any longer and called it quits. We then saw a totally broken guy with whom we all sympathized. But how could Hitesh lose the race????? The next day we saw him bonding beautifully with Rumpa and the relationship seemed to have been going excellently well. His mother is actually a caricature of interference, manipulation and domination.

She moves around as if she owns the whole show and all those who are staying with her are her sub ordinates who need do as her beck and call. She calls herself proud for being dominating and manipulative. She was quick in reacting when Pooja rejected her son and this time made sure she had a girl who would literally eat out of her hands. She had Rumpa who is all ready to be like her Saansu ma. She has openly declared that she is here to get the perfect bride and marry her to his son.

She had such an impact on all of us that some just adored her and other simply hated her. On the positive side she is totally outspoken tells whatever she feels like, is prepared to go to any extend to win the show and makes no pretensions about it. She seems very understanding at times and is very sweet and supportive when she chooses to be examples being her trying to make Yah and his mom accept Gurpreet and supporting Gur all along she also seems to sometimes (strictly only sometimes) be very supportive/understanding about Priyanka.

Whatever may be the reason of all her doings you can’t ignore the fact that she literally has managed to be the most noticeable inmate of the show and seems totally focused on winning. How much she can accomplish that is for us to see. Hitesh and his mom are great winning team rather than a good husband and mother in law. They in other words a spoilt, short tempered yet cool, sometimes fun to be with and committed man and the dominating ruling mother under whom if you are happy and she chooses to like you then all is wonderful.

Vivek Agarwal: The stable/mature guy and his sweet mom.

Everybody has only good to say about Vivek and his mom but the fact remains that they have not found the girl of their choice in the show and seem to have taken a backseat in the show. They seem to the least likely to be winners but then with the drama happening in the show probably staying out criticism itself is enough.

Yashdeep Nain: The favorite/or not and his strong and decisive mom.

Yash one of those who could have been the prospective winners and groom in the show but then his mom put the foot down for his choice Gurpreet. Whether her stand is right and her claims of Gurpreet not being suitable is right or wrong still remains debatable. Anyways he seems to have handled the controversy with his silence very effectively and has stayed away from taking another choice in the show. He is out of the show and whether there would be a reentry and will it make him win remains doubtful.

Gaurav Narang: One of the most practical and perfect guy and his mother.

Gaurav was one of the very cool and practical guy who seemed have the right balance of emotion and practicality. He seemed one of the very genuine guys in the show. His mother seems to have been a bit fussy sometimes but at the time of elimination she took it surprisingly well and was very cool making the duo a favorite. With present situation his come back would have a great effect on the audience and the inmates of the show. He may not have won the show or the winning bride but sure has won our hearts.
