The Peugeot electric Light City Car or VLV built in 1941 is displayed at Peugeot show room on the Champs Elysee in Paris Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 ahead of the opening of the Paris Auto Show. To offset the lack of fuel and materials during World War II, Peugeot designed 377 small electric vehicles with a Safi engine enabled two people to get around within a limited range of approximately 70km.
