The film primarily tells the story post the Gujarat riots. Deepti Naval has been a housewife all her life. Till date she never took any decision without consulting her husband. In return for taking care of her husband and her children she was always treated like a doormat. Since the husband never respected her, the children also treated her like a nobody.
