Mumbai: Breaking News! The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2011 will be held in Toronto, Canada. The festival will be held from June 16-19, 2011.
The IIFA Awards 2011 is considered as the biggest extravaganza in Bollywood, as it is always held in a foreign country to promote Hindi films outside India. In the past, it was held in London, Dubai, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, and Bangkok.
Big B Amitabh Bachchan will continue to be the IIFA’s brand ambassador, while 60,000 visitors are likely to visit Toronto to watch IIFA Awards 2011. About 300,000 Indians live in Toronto.
