The Commonwealth Games 2010 theme song has been launched. The full of energy song “Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya” is released and composed by A.R Rahman. The great Oscar Winning A.R Rahman said that it was a great honor for him that he was selected to compose the song for the Commonwealth Games which are going to be held in Delhi.
Some says the theme song is not energetic but for other it’s full of energy and it will make players more energetic and full of enthusiasm. Rehman says he feels very proud and on Friday he wrote the last night ofthe song. He completed the song in six months and the song is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. The song is titled “Swagatham” and its video is available online so you can enjoy it online and can also download it.
Suresh Kalmadi, the CWG Organizing Committee Chairman, said that they have completed all the preparation and after thirty four days the big event would start in Delhi. On Saturdaythe song was launched in Gurgaon and Rehman performed it with a group of dancers. When he was singing the song it seemed that it’s a call for 71 nations to get ready to participate in CWG.
Rehman’s song “Swagatham” is like an energy dose which can easily fills you with vigor and motivates to change impossible to possible.The song is in English and Hindi so that everyone could easily understand it. Kalmadi appreciated the composition of theme song and he said that it would come out as a big success.
