Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro Launched in India; Price, Specifications And Features
New Delhi, Feb 14: Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi on Wednesday launched Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro at an event in the national capital. Redmi Note 5, the successor to the popular Redmi Note 4, and Redmi Note 5 Pro made their global debut with the launch in India. Here are the details about features and prices of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro launched by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5: Redmi Note 5 comes with a large 1.25-micron pixel sensor to help with low-light photography and packs a 4,000mAh battery. To keep the smartphone cool, it has dual pyrolytic graphite sheet. Redmi Note 5 comes in four variants – Lake Blue, Rose Gold, Black, and Gold. According to Xiaomi, the smartphone is thinnest Note phone they have made. Redmi Note 5 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The smartphone with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro: Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and comes with 6GB RAM. The smartphone will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue colour variants. It is the first Redmi smartphone that has dual cameras and supports portrait mode. It also has electronic image stabilization which cancels out unwanted movement in your videos.
Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a 12 MP IMX 486 sensor from Sony to capture still images and a secondary 5MP colour sensor to capture depth information. It also sports 20MP selfie camera with LED flash. It is the first phone of Xiaomi in India which has face unlock. The smartphone sports a 20MP selfie shooter with LED flash. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM option.
