The petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine that develops 247 bhp. Transmission duties are carried out by 8-speed automatic gearbox transmitting power to all the four wheels.

  Range Rover Velar comes with a price tag of INR 78.83 lakh and goes up to INR 1.37 crore (ex-showroom India). The deliveries for the newly launched SUV will commence from next month onwards. It will compete against Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and the Volvo XC90.
