The entry of Yash Raj Films in the domain of television with five shows was accompanied by a lot of hullaballoo thanks to their track record in films. 'Powder', one of the five shows was set against the narcotic trade in the back-drop of today's Mumbai. This fast paced, high octane drama told the tale of durg lord, Naved Ansari, and an honest team of Narotics Control Bureau led by Usmaan Malik. This thrilling show was one step towards coming of age of Indian television. But it failed to find takers being pitted against well established shows.
