The Veyron series of cars are named after the French racer, Pierre Veyron, the winner of the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 as the official Bugatti participant. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has also won the "Car of the Decade" title (2000-2009) from BBC's program named Top Gear. (Source: Bugati)
