Statutory Absences (SSP/SMP/SAP/SPP)
Purpose
Employee sickness, maternity, adoption and paternity absences are evaluated by the
Payroll component for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP) and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) purposes. These four absences are collectively termed SxP.
To process these SxP absences, the
Payroll component uses employees' absence data recorded in infotype
Absences (2001). It then evaluates the absences in conjunction with the SxP data on each employee and produces the relevant SxP figures for payroll.
Integration
The employee data required by the
Payroll component is stored in the following infotypes:
·Absences (infotype 2001)
·SSP1(L) Form Data Record (infotype 0085)
·SSP/SMP/SAP/SPP Exclusions (infotype 0086)
·SMP/SAP/SPP GB (infotype 0088)
