Biopics are the new hot trend in Bollywood and every actor wants to essay the role of somebody who was once a nobody. Are they successful at the box office? Not necessarily. Playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat’s wife – Daya Kaur, she had to blend in as a wife and a mother. Her character was essential to the storyline and as Aamir described her, ‘She was a one take actress.’
