We've got a definitive list of actresses who debuted this year and nailed their first stint on TV. Tina Phillip

Tina Anna Philip is a chartered acountant by profession who isn't all that into makeup, however, she turned out to be one of the most successful debutants in Tellyland. She came to be known as Aastha for the Star Plus show Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee and we cannot imagine anyone fitting the role so perfectly. Her character was unconventional and quirky and she wore it perfectly.

Anjali Anand

Anjali Anand already had the digital space hooked with Untag as the curvy actress worked her charm on screen. Her shift to TV was equally notable! With Dhhai Kilo Prem, she made quite a revolutionary portrayal that changed the way TV looks at a female protagonist. Her debut was everything we expected and more as she portrayed Dipika with the most realistic edge.

Ashi Singh

Ashi Singh was introduced to TV as Naina Agarwal on Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai. The Sony TV show was a wave of nostalgia and Ashi Singh is a breath of fresh air that comes along. We loved seeing her performance on screen and she makes a nice addition to the young actors of TV.

Bhumika Gurung

Nimki Mukhiya saw Bhumika Gurung as the lead and it was great to see the actress own a show after only a short blink and miss stint in Gumraah. The Star Bharat show was an underdog and it came up with the talent of this new-comer.

Yesha Rughani

Yesha Rughani had a tall order to fulfill as her acting debut was as the Beauty in Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More which is loosely based on Beauty and the Beast story. The debutante is a smart young woman who took on the role of Devi with finesse. It was impressive to watch her keep up and even overshadow her co-star who is a comparatively experienced actor.
