About the Show:

• Bigg Boss (or colloquially Bigg Boss Marathi) is the Marathi-language version of the reality television programme Bigg Boss based on Big Brother and airs on Colors Marathi in India.
• The show has rolled out two seasons with Mahesh Manjrekar as the host. The third season was planned to launch in May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Bigg Boss Marathi (season 1) was won by actress Megha Dhade in July 2018, who later also appeared in Bigg Boss 12 as a wild card contestant.
• Bigg Boss Marathi (season 2) was won by MTV Roadies (season 15) semi-finalist Shiv Thakare in September 2019.
  

Season 2019 (Season 2:

• During the Chor Bazaar Task, Shivani Surve tried to pull Veena Jagtap inside the jail. But, as she refused to come, both started fighting then Veena Jagtap kicked Shivani Surve and it has been major controversy in the house.
• Shivani Surve had asked Bigg Boss to let her go home and if she is not allowed to go back home, then she would file a case against the makers. But, Bigg Boss warned her for the same, she apologised to Bigg Boss.
• Abhijeet Bichukale has been arrested from the house in connection with a cheque bouncing case.
• Parag Kanhere got physical fight with Neha Shitole, who is also a participant. He ended up slapping her and physical altercation with Vaishali Mhade.

Bigg Boss Marathi 2: Meet the contestants
2019 - Contestants/ Participants/ Elimination, Out, Eviction - Bigg Boss 2, Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 kicked off on Sunday night with actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar returning to host the show. The premiere episode also unveiled the contestants who will take part in the reality show. Here are all the contestants.

• Bigg Boss Marathi is back with its second season. The reality show premiered on Sunday and will air at 9:30 pm on Colors Marathi from May 27 onwards. However, before the madness begins, here's a look at the Bigg Boss Marathi 2 house.
• The kitchen area is the most crucial area of the Bigg Boss house as both food and controversies are truly important in this show for survival.
• Contestants will make confessions in front of Bigg Boss in this vibrant and colourful room.
• Stay tuned for major fights, planning and plotting in the bedrooms.
• The dining area is simple and seems to be inspired by Maharashtrian culture.
• The living room has this classy meets village look to it.
• This season also has a jail for all those who will break the Bigg Boss rules. So contestants... beware!
• Garden area is amusing for two reasons - the Tulsi plant in the entrance and the workout area which has been titled "Bigg Boss Vyayam Shala".
