As we gear up for the one final elimination to be shot tomorrow before the Grand Finale, the Jhalak House is abuzz with lot of activities. Apart from the top four, the eliminated contestants are also busy rehearsing for their one last act in the Finale episode. One such performance we hear, will come from the cousins Ragini Khanna and Krushna Abhishek. Sony's fresh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa launches on December 13th, and the inaugural episode we believe, is going to be a grand and lavish affair. The channel has approached Cineyug Entertainment to produce the first episode of Jhalak. We hear that the start of this season will be star-filled with every contestant getting introduced in a song and dance format by popular names of both television and Bollywood industries. We hear that all the 12 contestants are rehearsing for the grand opening, and there will be performances coming from the judges Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and Remo D'Souza. Our source tells us, "Every contestant will be brought to the stage and given a warm welcome and introduction, and the honour of introducing them will be done by big names. Names that have been roped in include veteran actors Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Helen etc". Elaborating on the Contestant and Celebrity list, our source informs us, "The introductory pairings will be like this – Mahhi Vij – Hema Malini, Ragini Khanna – Helen, Yana Gupta – Mika Mehndi, Renuka Shahane – Mohnish Behl, Shekhar Suman – Adhyayan Suman, Krushna Abhishek – Govinda, Meiyang Chang – Anushka Sharma, Akhil Kumar – Dharmendra, Daya Shetty – Akshay Kumar, Anushka Manchanda - Esha Deol, Ankita Lokhande, Sushant Singh Rajput will be introduced by the popular onscreen pair of Kinshuk Mahajan and Parul Chauhan". And news about the comeback of Renuka Shahane on small screen, that too on the dancing stage of Jhalak has made people inquisitive and anxious to see her in the new avatar. Adding on to the excitement, viewers are eager to know how she is looking forward to perform in front of her onscreen sister and the dancing diva Madhuri Dixit. For the uninitiated, Renuka played elder sister to Madhuri in the popular movie Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.. At the outset of the launch of the show, Renuka opened her heart "Initially I was really scared about who the judges were because we did not have any clue regarding that. Says a source, "Salman was badly injured while doing a stunt yesterday. The current theme given to the participants is hip-hop, so when Salman and Yana were rehearsing for their performance, he had to do a back-lift which led him to fall. His knees were badly hurt and he had to be immediately taken to the hospital. Things still do not seem good for him and he may not be in the position to perform for the coming week but it will be clearer by today evening." The judges were all praise for the 'Tadka' performance of veteran Sarita Joshi, but felt that Krushna and Robin simply had no idea as to what they were performing. Well, this performance proved costly for Krushna as he was shown the door in today's shoot. Our source tells us, "Krushna Abhishek, Ragini Khanna and Ankita Lokhande were in the bottom three. However, Ragini got saved and it was Krushna and Ankita who faced the music of elimination. Krushna got out as he bagged the least number of junta votes". Wonder how? Well, the next week's theme happens to be 'Colors' where all the contestants are required to play with the color they choose.. And Ragini and Nirav who chose the color Black decided to go blind-folded in their performance.. We hear the duo performed exceptionally well to the number, 'Naina Tarsenge'... Though Ragini and Nirav did not gather a perfect 30 score, their performance indeed left a mark and the judges and audience assembled appreciated their effort with a huge applause. Talking about the concept, Ragini told us, "I was totally against the act when Nirav for the first time suggested that we tie a black ribbon around our eyes and dance. I was not ready to take this big a risk, that too at this stage of the competition. But he convinced me that if we do well in the act, that might actually turn in our favour". "The feeling after the performance was outstanding; it actually becomes difficult if someone looses his or her vision, and we got the emotions perfect. I never expected that our act will go well because during rehearsals, we never could manage a perfect act. But on stage, all went well and it turned out to be fabulous", explains Ragini. The leads faces of Sony's upcoming fiction show, produced by YRF will grace Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as celebrity guests next week. A khabroo informs us, "The cop in the show Damodar Deshmukh, played by Vikas Kumar along with his five Khotey Sikkey played by Hasan Zaidi, Puru Chibber, Sukhmani Sadana, Mark Farokh Parakh and Dilkush Reporter will be seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The cast will be seen shaking their legs, performing on the title track of their show. The cast recently performed in the CID Gallantry Awards too". Khotey Sikkey will launch on 28th January and will air every Friday and Saturday at the 11 PM slot. Our source states, "Ankita was yet again in the danger zone along with Ragini Khanna. Both did very well last week when they performed on Madhuri Dixit numbers. They were asked to perform in the Face-Off round. Daya who is still recovering from a back injury could not impress the judges. It was quite predictable that Shekhar would land himself in the Bottom Two, after the judges awarded him with very low marks. Our source states, "Shekhar Suman and Ankita Lokhande had to perform in the Face-Off round today. Ankita who is comparatively a better dancer did well and got acknowledged by the judges; this meant that Shekhar had to bow out of the competition today". Our source states, "This week Ragini Khanna and Yana Gupta were in the face off round where Yana performed extremely well and got the judges' votes in her favor which proved disastrous for Ragini. The performance apparently lacked coordination and to add on to that, both Ragini and Neerav forgot their steps as well". It is time to rejoice for all Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans, as he makes a roaring comeback in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 this week. Sushant had to bow out of the show last week due to his back injury but the three judges allowed him to continue the show without performing and ask for votes. A source says, “Sushant was on heavy medication and had to consult a physiotherapist. After resting for a few days he is back in the show and is ready to perform. However, he landed in the danger zone. Apart from Sushant, Yana Gupta and her choreographer Salman Khan too were in the bottom two. In the face off round, both of them performed so well that it was very difficult for the judges to vote for one. So they saved both of them and announced there would be no elimination this week. “Yana and Sushant are one of the most consistent performers of this season so it was sad to see them in the danger zone. Further Sushant’s next act was marvelous and he got a perfect 30. This week’s theme was world tour and all celebrities had to perform on typical dance forms of a particular country.” One participant will bid adieu to Jhalak stage next week just before the finale. |

He apparently took Madhuri's advice in the right stead and got back after taking a week long rest. But we hear that this decision of Sushant, did not go well with the other contestants as he eventually got more time to rehearse.. Our source states, "There was some huge drama wherein few of the contestants and their choreographers protested against this decision, but all was in vain". With no points coming from the judges last week, Sushant had to save his skin by performing in the Face-Off round. Yana Gupta found herself in the bottom along with Sushant. However, there is yet another twist awaiting the viewers. "Sushant and Yana performed exceedingly well in the face-off round, and this left the judges in dilemma. Madhuri announced that she is clueless as to what to do, and wants to buy some time so that she could discuss with the other two judges. After a brief talk, the judges decided that they would declare the coming week as a 'No Elimination Week' as they both were inseparable when it came to the class of performance they delivered", adds our source.
