Terminate - Benefits

I want to terminate all benefits for a set of pernrs (assume for entire organization) with a termination date of 12/31/2009. How can I do it for all pernrs together.

I know we can manually stop participation for a particular pernr from HRBEN0014. But I wasn’t able to find how to terminate for all pernrs together.

Also is there a way to end only couple of plans for all pernrs (instead of all benefits)?

I have exactly the same issue right now and I am playing around with tcode PA70 where you can select the infotype and select and make a small query and run it and mass update the end date.

I am not sure exactly how, because I am trying to figure out how myself. I will let you know once i find something, but if you do find a solution, pls do let me know.

My requirement is also the same - update the end date to a specific date for all PERNR but not to all benefits, so trying to find a solution. Let me know.

We had the same requirement so our technical team developed a custom program to accomplish this task.

It is basically a copy of program RPUBENTERM with enhancements to allow for temination of multiple employees.
We have it scheduled to run nightly to delimit specified benefit plans by action type by run date.

Were either of you able to figure this out.
I have a similar problem regarding needing to stop participation for a specific health benefit for multiple employees.

This is just to confirm that in the standard there is no tool/report to terminate plans for several employees.

So you will have to create your own report.
Alternatively you could raise a development request to have such functionality created in the standard.

I use the Data Transfer Tool to do this. It is a 2 step process. Add all the PERNRs to the load template and use a BEGDA of 1/1/2010 and ENDDA of 12/31/9999.

Run the Data Transfer Tool in create record mode. This will create new records beginning 1/1/2010, thus end dating current plans on 12/31/2009. Then run the tool again in Delete mode, using same load template.

This will delete all the plan records for 1/1/2010, thus you are left with all your plans end dated on 12/31/2009...
